I took these two photos after my stay as an artist in residence in Schwandorf in Germany, 2006. I call them "Burnt bridges" and "The gift". They tell about my own art, about the way I am going to take in my creative work. I constantly strive for change and wish to re-examine my art again and again. In order to proceed on this way, I have to burn the bridges either unbidden and freely or regretfully and begrudgingly - in other words, not to look back or linger in the past.
